Sun, Summits, and Soaks: Your Ultimate Summer Guide to Snoqualmie Pass
Most people think of Snoqualmie Pass as a winter wonderland: a place where the powder is deep and the chairlifts never stop. But here’s a local secret: Summer at the Pass is actually our best-kept secret. When the snow melts, the Cascades transform into a rugged, sun-drenched playground of alpine lakes, wildflower meadows, and adrenaline-pumping trails.
Whether you’re looking to crush a 10-mile ridge hike, float down a lazy river, or simply soak in a private hot tub with a cold beverage, Snoqualmie Pass is the ultimate summer basecamp. At The Mountainside House, we’ve traded the ski boots for hiking boots, and we’re here to give you the download on how to master the mountain this season.
Snow Lake is one of the most stunning Alpine Lakes in the PNW. The trailhead is located at Alpental just a 10 minute drive from The Mountainside House
The "Big Five" Hikes: From Family-Friendly to Epic Alpine Views
